‘Y’ Type Filter The ‘Y’ Type filter is designed for use where ‘in-line’ filtration is required. The element can be changed or cleaned without removing the assembly from the pipeline.

Pump Protection Filter The Pump Protection filter is used upstream of the pump for protection from foreign bodies and oversize solids.

Side entry and Y type filters are supplied with elements consisting of a 6mm perforated tube inside a mesh sleeve. The 6mm perforated tube is also available without the mesh sleeve as shown on the table. Pump protection filters are supplied with either a 3mm or 6mm perforated tube only (no mesh). Hygienic Tubing
To compliment the hygienic fittings range, DPL also stock a full range of hygienic tube.
Manufactured from premium grade 316L Stainless Steel which also complies with BS EN 10217-7, the tube is suited to many industry sectors. These sectors include Dairy, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Chemical.
Available in 6 meter lengths, the tube has a food grade internal finish and an external dull polish in order to meet the high expectations of the hygienic industry.
Tube lengths can also be cut to suit individual requirements.
Our Tube:
- Complies with BS EN 10217-7 to ensure maximum compatibility with your process system.
- Wide range of tube OD sizes available to suit your application (see Table below)
- Tube lengths cut to order for ease of shipping etc
- Fully annealed option to ensure ease of fabrication and manipulation if required

Hygienic Flow Plates
DPL offer a range of flow plate designs or we can manufacture to specific customer requirements.
Flow Plates are available with valves, position switches and swing bends with handles, drains and drain valves. Complete with box section as required and available in a variety of finishes the DPL, flow plates can be fitted with cable conduit and drip trays.
The use of 3D modelling lowers the cost of manufacture and removes the risk of making expensive errors.
Our ability to import/export information on CAD file by Email or CD speeds up the design and commissioning cycle saving you money.

Hygienic Tube and Fittings
To facilitate installation of Diamond valves, Dairy Pipe Lines (DPL) provides a comprehensive range of hygienic stainless steel tube and fittings for every processing application.
Where product pipelines have to be dismantled frequently for cleaning, a crevice free union provides the optimum hygienic solution. In such applications, swift and easy disconnection and re assembly is important, since it will not only help to reduce the time and effort involved in the cleaning or sterilization process, but also cut costs.
Our range of unions comprises the ILC, Clamp, RJT and IDF. Constructed from 316 and/or 316L stainless steel, they are available with a range of seal materials, including Nitrile, Silicone, EPDM, Viton and PTFE, to ensure compatibility with customer process system applications.
To complement this extensive range of fittings, we supply AISI 316/304 stainless steel tube in sizes from ½ inch to 4 inch (exterior dimensions). Stocked in 6m random lengths, the tube comes with polished or bright unannealed finishes.
Plain bends and tees conform to ISO standards and BS 4825 PT 3 for orbital or hand welding on site, while crosses and ‘Y’ pieces can be manufactured to customer specifications and drawings and supplied with or without fittings.
Stainless steel filters – including side entry, in-line, ‘Y’ type and pump protection systems, along with a duplex assembly set up for use with our plug and butterfly valves – help to ensure product in the pipeline remains free from foreign bodies and oversize solids.
